Songs of Thanks is a musical project meant to show gratitude and appreciation for health care and frontline workers while our world is in crisis.
Songs of Thanks was created by Duane and Johanna of The Town Pants. Two musicians who are quarantined in a small apartment in Vancouver's West End - what could happen next?
One night, they decided to add some music to the nightly 7pm cheer for health care workers. The Canadian National Anthem was an obvious first choice. Night after night the music expanded - another instrument, another voice, cover songs they'd never imagined they would even want to play together!
100% of the profits from these sales will be donated to the St Paul's Hospital Foundation to aid our front line workers.
Live stream the balcony concerts here on the Songs of Thanks Facebook page.
